Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you’re not sure where to begin. I believe you are the author of your own story and the expert on your own life — my role is simply to help guide and support that process, not direct it for you. Building a genuine, trusting relationship with you is where we start, and I work to create a space that feels secure and warm, where you can show up exactly as you are.

I have a particular passion for working with young people, and I love creating a safe space where kids and teens can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. As a queer clinician, I also deeply enjoy working with LGBTQ+ and transgender clients. Over the past two years, working within a school setting, I’ve supported children and adolescents through anxiety, PTSD, depression, grief, gender dysphoria, self-esteem struggles, and peer conflicts, and I’ve run psychoeducational groups helping teens build skills around anxiety and executive functioning.

I hold a Master’s in Counseling from DePaul University, and I bring a holistic, systemic approach to our work together — which often means involving the people around you, too. For parents, that can look like building parenting skills and strengthening communication at home, so the support you’re getting in session is reinforced everywhere else in your life.

In our individual work, I draw on a person-centered approach and Narrative Therapy, along with Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy when they fit what you need. Together, we’ll work to build resiliency, develop coping skills, move toward your goals, and begin to reauthor the stories you’ve been told about yourself — into ones that actually feel true to who you are.
