I received my Ph.D. in School Psychology at Illinois State University. I have experience
working across a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health, and integrated primary care. I specialize in working with neurodivergent children and use an integrated ecological and developmental approach to support emotion regulation, behavioral challenges, mood, adjustment, and other concerns. I believe children are best understood within the context of their relationships and environments, and I place a strong emphasis on consultation and collaboration with caregivers, schools, and other providers to create supportive, consistent approaches across settings.
I approach assessment with warmth, curiosity, and a focus on understanding the whole child. Rather than viewing evaluation as simply identifying a diagnosis or concern, I see it as putting together the pieces of a puzzle to better understand one’s experiences and needs. My work is grounded in socially just, culturally responsive, and neurodiversity-affirming practices, and I strive to bring these values to both my clinical work and research.
When I am not at work, I spend my time going for walks and pup cups with my dog, Sonny, being a foodie with friends, reading, or learning new hobbies. Currently, I am trying out baking and crocheting.
